Valentine’s Day, which fall on February 14th, commemorates the death of Saint Valentine. Valentine’s Day or the day of love, is the day which lovers will tell about feels in them heart together. Maybe will send a card, give a flower and go to the romantic place.
Story of Valentine’s Day, is the day which Saint Valentine death. Saint Valentine who started made a wedding ceremony in ages, which this ceremony should not make in this age. In that time Rome , a capital of ancient Roman Kingdom 270 A .D., wanted many people to war. But many people don’t want to leave their families to join the war. Claudius II was command to stop a wedding ceremony. But Saint Valentine was made a sneak wedding ceremony until he was arrested. In jail he has met a loved with blind girl. When the secret was revealed, Saint Valentine was executed on February 14. Each year on February 14, the day commemorates Saint Valentine who dedicated to love.
Symbols of Valentine’s Day there are Cupid, rose, chocolate, card and etc.
The famous gift of Valentine’s Day is res rose. Long time ago, people used a flower for show their love together. Almost people in the world believed a flower is the symbol of young people’s love. But the true flower can use to tell about love in a several type, unlimited age and sex.
A flower has different according to their color such as
1. Red Rose = is the symbol of the word “I love You”
2. White Rose = It signifies a "pure love"
3. Pink Rose = is the symbol of “Romantic love”
4. Yellow Rose = Yellow is a color of bright, suitable for friends.
Therefore, Valentine’s Day is not the day of love between young people. We can tell “Love” with father, mother, friends, teacher and another people.
